I loved this hotel! This visit was there for pleasure, but will definitely visit it again for business. The rooms are delightful- best bed linens ever and pillows are fabulous. Loved our breakfast too. Location very nice as well. I can't wait to come back and hopefully spend a few more nights in that wonderful bed

Great addition to Marriott!
My husband and I have been members with Marriott for many years now and we had a free night available. I found this hotel on the website and we really enjoyed our stay. As Gold members we were given a room upgrade and breakfast in the morning. Our room was wonderful with a fireplace and my husband loved the bathrobes and slippers. Definitely would return

better than the rest
Nice upscale hotel outside of buffalo. Well appointed rooms and lobby area. Well priced. Some construction where they are working in an extension but was not a hassle. Breakfast was good but server seemed a little overwhelmed with too many tables. Nicer than a typical chain hotel but you would never guess it from the outside

Gorgeous boutique hotel, missing the little details
After a lovely stay a few weeks ago, I decided to stay at Reikart House again last week during a last minute business trip. I had appreciated the extra touches on my prior visit such as a hand written note in my room and the fact that someone had swept the snow off of my car after a night of light snow. On this stay I encountered several challenges that I did communicate to the GM without response. 1. I found small spots of dried blood on the comforter of my bed (see photos). Due to the late hour at which I discovered this, I simply removed it from the bed. However the next morning I also found dried blood on the shower towel. This is disturbing and not something that should have been overlooked. 2. With the Do Not Disturb light on, housekeeping barged into my room at 9:30 am. No knock, just barged right in. I was on a conference call and this was highly distruptive. I'm still not sure why they walked in, well before check out with the DND on. This concerns me about the security of the hotel. 3. I had breakfast included in my room rate. I walked down to the front desk at 8 am and asked what time breakfast service ended. I was told 11 am. I walked down at 10:08 to order breakfast and was told that service ended at 10. Again, details. No apologies from the front desk, terribly disappointing. 4. Dining services are hit or miss. While the menu stated broccoli rabe (broccolini) with the beef tenderloin, they served broccoli with no explanation. I also ordered a salmon Caesar salad and the portion of salmon was laughable (smaller than the dressing dish - 2 oz at best). I'm truthfully not sure if I would stay again, or if I could recommend that a friend stay here. While it is beautiful, the devil is in the details and they don't seem to have those down consistently
